Abstract original painting. Transparent pigment creates a sense of depth and atmosphere, while the stitching and loose mark-making invigorate the composition.
My collaborator thought carefully about which marks to make, taking in the whole work and making decisive changes to composition and flow.
The painting has been coated with a durable uv-protective coating in order to preserve and maintain the pigments as they age. It is float mounted to a foam-core panel. It will need to be framed before hanging.
